Upload main image here: ![]() Chops didn´t waste any time getting on the scoresheet for us on his return ![]() ![]() | I did my hamstring a few weeks ago when we played Wolves. I was pretty gutted because I wanted to play against my old club but I had to come off after about ten minutes. Unfortunately that’s the way it goes sometimes. I should be fit in about ten days. I couldn’t do much during the first week and I was just limping around at home. But after a week I started with upper body work then brought in little jogs and bike work. This week I have been training harder and doing running, so hopefully I´ll be back in full training next week, with a view to coming back for the game against Swansea. It was a good win at the weekend against Palace. Michael Chopra has come back here on loan and he had an instant impact. He did well on Saturday but really the whole squad is doing well. Chops is a good player and I reckon we could complement each other well![]() Chops has history with Cardiff and the fans love him at Ninian Park. Personally, I welcome the competition. It keeps you on your toes to be fighting for places in the team. Chops is a good player and I reckon we could complement each other well. We are different types of forwards - he is smaller than me, he´s quick and he is more of a goal-poacher than anything else. I have different strengths to my game, obviously with my height I am good in the air, I hold the ball up well and provide flick-ons. As far as possible partnerships go between myself, Chops and Ross McCormack - I don’t care who plays as long as I am playing! We´ll have to see what happens. I just want to play. Ask any player and they´ll tell you that the time when they´re at their happiest is when they are out on the pitch. The only time I´m ever upset is if I am not playing! The boys are doing well though, so I am going to be training hard and hoping that I can get into the side when I get back. ![]() ![]() ![]() |
