![]() ![]() | ![]() What do you aim to achieve at Cardiff City? Do you have any plans on what to do after your playing days are over? ![]() thefranksternator I just want to keep playing football as well as I can and we´ll see where that takes me and Cardiff. I want to contribute everything I can to this great club and I believe if every player does their part then the rewards will come. I think I´ve got at least another eight seasons left as a player so I´m not thinking a great deal about what I´ll do afterwards. Having said that I´ll probably want to stay in the game in some way. I have thought a little bit about coaching, but there are lots of opportunities and I´ll think more about it closer to the time. Cheers, Jay 05 Jan 2009 17:04 ![]() What is your goal target for the season and where do you think we´ll finish in the table? Sam ![]() sam-landon If it´s okay Sam I´ll keep my personal goal target to myself. I think if you put it out there it can start to put pressure on you. I know what I´m aiming for and after six goals in 19 games I´m not far off it. I honestly believe we´ll finish in one of the automatic promotion places. It won´t be easy but we have the team to do it and you have to stay positive. Thanks very much for your question mate, Jay. 05 Jan 2009 17:03 ![]() hi jay im a huge fan of you and of cardiff and have been going for 10 years now , how have u setteld in at cardiff ? and how many kick ups can you do i always see you do kick up in warm up before matches lol? , hope you reccover soon , nathan from cardiff ![]() nathan jones Cheers Nathan. I think I´ve settled in really well at Cardiff. I love the city and everyone at the club has been fantastic. It´s great to come to a place where everyone is positive and there´s so much quality around. The supporters have been brilliant. We took 4,000 to Reading away and loads made the long trip to Ipswich on a freezing day. There´s loads of passion and that´s great to be a part of. The last time I counted when I did loads of keep-ups I got to over 1,000 and then I just stopped. I like doing them before a game because it helps your touch. I do it in training as well and it comes in useful when you want to hold the ball up or you´re volleying. Jay. 05 Jan 2009 17:00 ![]() I am one of your greatest admirers and one of the first to give you the nickname ´Jay the Snake.´ Do you still get called that? Roberto, Perugia ![]() The Editor No, that was a name that stuck while I was in Italy but I don´t tend to get called it any more. I´m quite glad about that actually! 13 Oct 2008 14:09 ![]() I´m trying to become a footballer and I think I´m quite good, have you got any tips? John, East Sussex ![]() The Editor You just have to knuckle down and work really hard. Always believe in yourself. I started off playing for my local borough team, you should do the same if you can. The more experience you have, the better you will get. 13 Oct 2008 14:08 ![]() What do you do when you aren´t playing? Catherine ![]() The Editor I spend time with my girlfriend and my family. I like to play lots of computer games and like listening to music too, Lupe Fiasco, Ludacris and Young Jock seem to be favourites at the moment. 13 Oct 2008 14:07 ![]() |
